Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled quad axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting material such as Aggragates and various types of soil efficiently across designated routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight, including heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive a tractor-trailer or truck with a manual transmission to transport freight to various locations.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules while minimizing fuel consumption.
Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing forklifts when required.
Load and Unload Heavy equipment (we will teach you how to operate if needed)
Ensure proper tie down of the load being hauled
Skills
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in truck driving roles, particularly with tractor-trailers.
Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and freight handling procedures.
Ability to operate various types of trucks, with proficiency in manual transmission vehicles.
Familiarity with safety regulations related to transportation and freight handling.
Excellent time management skills with an ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in changing situations on the road.

Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
