Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Responsibilities
Operate different types of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
Execute route driving efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, delays, or issues encountered during transport.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck both inside and out.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in truck driving with knowledge of manual transmission operations.
Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for various types of freight.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps for efficient route planning.
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual labor as needed.
