OverviewJoin our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take the wheel in delivering essential freight across diverse routes! This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. As a key player in our logistics network, you’ll ensure timely, safe deliveries while adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations. Bring your passion for driving and your commitment to safety to a role that keeps goods moving and businesses thriving!DutiesSafely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks across over-the-road (OTR) routes.Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques and utilize equipment such as forklifts when necessary.Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to follow designated delivery routes while optimizing delivery schedules.Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations and FMCSA standards.Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), FMCSA, and other relevant regulations during vehicle operation and cargo handling.Load, secure, and unload cargo accurately, maintaining the integrity of logistics cargo handling procedures.Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to uphold safety standards.Document delivery activities thoroughly, including logs of load & unload times, route details, and any incidents or delays.Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to confirm delivery schedules and report any issues promptly.ExperienceProven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving.Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operation, flatbed hauling, tanker transport, or dump truck operations is preferred.Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for Hazmat and tanker loads is highly desirable.Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving.Experience handling logistics cargo including freight loading/unloading procedures and manual handling techniques.Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely.Prior experience with automobile transportation or tractor-trailer operations is advantageous.Join us in delivering excellence on every mile!
