Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this role, you will operate various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight across diverse routes. Your expertise in navigating over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and handling hazardous materials will be essential in maintaining our high standards for safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards.
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times.
- Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured correctly for transport.
- Transport various types of freight such as hazardous materials (hazmat), dangerous goods, and general freight across long-distance OTR routes.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo manifests in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries, report issues promptly, and update delivery statuses.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, preferably with route driving or delivery driver roles involving freight transportation.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) and proper manual handling procedures for cargo handling.
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type operated; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT safety standards, and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate using GPS systems efficiently on over-the-road (OTR) routes while maintaining safety on the road.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety, responsibility, and professionalism in all aspects of commercial driving.

Pay: $1,200.00 – $2,000.00 per week
