Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating 18′ trucks, no CDL required. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while transporting freight to designated locations.
Duties
Safely operate and drive refrigerated truck, over specified local routes.
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as a pallet jack.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
Manage the loading and unloading process efficiently to minimize delays.
Qualifications
Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
Ability to operate various types of trucks safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with loading and unloading practices for different types of cargo.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Commitment to maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safety protocols.
Physical ability to lift loads and perform manual tasks as required.
