Responsibilities include:
- Develop affective shipping schedules and make certain resources are in place
- Ensure on-time delivery of products to customers
- Supervise the drivers and be a role model for positive attitude and work ethic
- Ensure compliance to Department of Transportation regulations
- Advocate for safety initiatives and promote a safety-first workplace
- Drive preventative maintenance on fleet and keep all vehicles in good working order
- Maintain freight records, employee records, mileage records, maintenance records, etc.
- Foster our culture of employee appreciation
Requirements include:
- Experience Supervising others and managing resources
- Experience working in transportation, distribution, fleet management, warehousing, dispatching, trucking, and/or logistics
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills
