Role Description This full-time, on-site Transportation Operations Manager role at SIEGMANN is based in Warsaw, Poland. The Transportation Operations Manager oversees daily transport activities, including planning routes, scheduling shipments, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring on-time deliveries. This role manages operational performance, monitors logistics KPIs, and implements process improvements to optimize cost, quality, and service levels. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, resolving service issues, managing documentation and compliance, and maintaining adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The manager also leads and supports team members, ensuring clear communication, training, and alignment with company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Transportation Operations and Transportation Management, with experience overseeing day-to-day logistics activities.
- Proficiency in Operations Management, including planning, monitoring KPIs, and improving processes across transport workflows.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, particularly in coordinating transportation within broader supply chain and warehouse networks.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to address service issues, manage expectations, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Relevant experience in logistics or transportation management, preferably in an on-site operations environment.
- Ability to work with transportation management systems (TMS) and standard office software tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on efficiency and compliance.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience leading or supervising teams in an operations or logistics setting is an advantage.
- Degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
