What You’ll Do:
As a Transportation Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting and scaling our day-to-day operations. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, carrier relations, and overall operational efficiency. Core responsibilities include:
Build and expand your book of business by prospecting and onboarding new shippers
Quote and coordinate shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery
Partner with the Operations team to source qualified carriers and cover loads
Communicate proactively with shippers, receivers, and drivers to track freight and resolve issues
Prepare carriers and dispatchers with detailed load information
Maintain accurate records and updates in our TMS
Monitor freight movement, ensure on-time delivery, and provide real-time updates to customers
Develop strong relationships with both customers and carriers for long-term success
Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to optimize cost and performance
Collaborate across teams to identify and implement process improvements
Solve problems quickly and act with urgency when issues arise
