Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all facility teams in making real-time adjustments to LTL planning, including updating shipment details during staging and ensuring any changes are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Manage pickup scheduling for both LTL and FTL shipments across multiple locations, utilizing scheduling platforms to secure estimated arrival times from both clients and carriers to minimize dock delays.
Direct the coordination of inbound delivery appointments, working closely with warehouse operations teams to prioritize urgent shipments, streamline unloading schedules, and align labor availability with delivery timing.
Support the execution of inbound drayage container operations contracted through internal freight services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
4+ years of experience designing logistics or transportation solutions, with a strong focus on parcel networks, including fulfillment and sortation.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in warehouse-based parcel transportation, with familiarity in meeting carrier compliance and operational requirements.
Exposure to multiple transportation modes such as LTL, FTL, and ocean freight or drayage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and support operational initiatives.
Familiarity with logistics technology platforms and tools used for operational data analysis and decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational capabilities.
