Transportation Operations Manager

IEDS Logistics is now hiring a Transportation Operations Manager. This is an opportunity for qualified leaders to be a part of a fast-paced industry with a growing corporation. The primary function of this position is to assist department managers with daily operations, drive results with projects, and help maintain IEDS Logistics growth trajectory.
Responsibilities:
Drive safety through the entire organization
Ensure department maintains a high level of customer service
Provide leadership for dispatchers, site managers, and drivers across the organization
Quality Improvement
Assist in the procurement and maintenance of company equipment
Recruiting and training talented individuals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or similar
Leadership Experience (2+ years supervisory experience)
2+ years transportation experience
Excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented, positive attitude, takes initiative
Knowledgeable of DOT regulations
Computer skills familiar with Microsoft Suite software; Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Safety Sensitive Position
Ability to reliably commute to and from work or plan to relocate prior to starting work
Job Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $62,000-$83,000 per year, DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday
