Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics operations and 3 years managerial experience
University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related fields
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work to deadlines and work well under pressure
Knowledge of project management tools and applications
Understanding of business structures, influences and requirements of customers
Working knowledge and understanding of warehouse, road transportation
Excellent interpersonal leadership motivation and planning skills
Knowledge about sector customer trends and expectations
Commercial/Operational business intelligence
Job Description:
Managing transport suppliers’ cost budget
Managing transport suppliers’ contracts
Management of transportation procurement and vendor relations
Management of the planning of the transportation sources
Fleet management
Monitoring Vendor’s KPIs & Scorecard
Management of transportation solution design and pricing
Leadership for continues improvement projects in transportation
Compliance with company and local statutory obligations regarding working time legislation, Health & Safety and quality Ensure effective communication processes are established
