We are seeking a Transportation CDL Driver responsible for delivering trucks, parts, and equipment to customers, Altec locations, and other sites.
Major Responsibilities:
Meet all Federal and State requirements for certification and CDL licensing for Class A, including current DOT medical certification and compliance with Section 391.41.
Properly load, unload, and secure cargo.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
Verify delivery instructions and routes.
Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
Maintain a daily record of duty status per regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Class A CDL required
Availability for extensive overnight travel
Travel greater than 75% of the time, willing to fly as needed
This position involves outside and inside contacts to implement company policies and programs, requiring effective communication, persuasion, and approval obtaining skills.
