We’re looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy depot in Southall. You’ll be at the heart of the transport operations, ensuring all deliveries and collections run smoothly and efficiently.
Your Role Will Include:
Optimising route planning – ensuring all deliveries and collections are scheduled efficiently and cost-effectively
Ensuring compliance – making sure drivers follow all transport legislation and FORS requirements (e.g., walk around checks, load security)
Managing site bookings – providing drivers with the necessary booking details for designated locations
Tracking KPIs – ensuring the transport function hits service targets
Supporting drivers & customer service – handling queries and offering assistance over the phone
Generating reports – assisting with transport function reports and performance analysis
Managing fleet compliance – scheduling vehicle maintenance and ensuring services are completed on time
What We’re Looking For:
Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Office & Outlook
Transport & distribution experience (advantageous but not essential)
Exceptional
attention to detail
– highly organised with excellent
communication skills
Good knowledge of London & South West region
Full driving licence
Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
Proactive, upbeat, and
