NIMS University is looking for a result-driven Transport Incharge to lead and optimize our campus transportation system. The ideal candidate will ensure timely service delivery, drive fuel efficiency, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and reliable transport services for students, faculty, and staff
- Plan and optimize routes to improve operational efficiency and reduce delays
- Implement strategies for fuel efficiency enhancement and cost optimization
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, and safety compliance
- Manage and monitor transport vendors, contracts, and performance
- Supervise drivers and transport staff to ensure discipline and service quality
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and MIS for transport operations
- Handle escalations, breakdowns, and emergency situations efficiently
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience in transport/logistics or fleet management
- Proven experience in vendor management and cost control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of transport regulations and fleet maintenance
- Leadership ability with a hands-on approach
