🎯 The Role
We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee transportation operations, logistics planning, fleet coordination, and carrier performance management. The successful candidate will optimize transportation processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure reliable delivery performance across regional and international networks.
This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in transportation management, logistics operations, fleet optimization, supply chain coordination, and vendor management.
🚀 What You'll Do
- Manage and optimize daily transportation operations and logistics activities
- Develop transportation strategies to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost control
- Oversee route planning, scheduling, fleet utilization, and delivery performance
- Manage relationships with carriers, freight providers, and third-party logistics partners
- Monitor transportation KPIs, budgets, service levels, and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Analyze transportation data to identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with supply chain, warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams
- Implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency
- Manage transportation risks, disruptions, and contingency planning
- Support transportation technology adoption and digital logistics initiatives
- Prepare operational reports and performance insights for leadership
✅ What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics operations, fleet management, or supply chain
- Proven experience managing transportation networks and logistics partners
- Strong understanding of freight operations, route optimization, and transportation compliance
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing distributed teams and remote operations
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, CIPS, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent qualifications
- Experience using transportation management systems such as SAP Transportation Management, Oracle Transportation Management, Manhattan Active Transportation Management, Microsoft Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience managing regional or international logistics operations
- Knowledge of fleet optimization, supply chain analytics, and transportation technology
- Fluency in English is required
