Position: Â Transport Executive (Nitec/3yrsexp/west)
** Responsibilites**:
– Create daily schedules for collection and delivery routes, optimising efficiency and minimising delays.
– Address any issues that arise during collection or delivery promptly and effectively.
– Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other expenses related to trips.
– Organise regular training/ toolbox sessions.
– Perform cross training for team members.
– Schedule regular maintenance for all vehicles in the fleet, including inspections, servicing, and repairs.
– Ensure that all team members complete required
safety training
courses.
– Monitor the performance of team members and provide feedback as needed.
– Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination of collection and delivery activities.
– Approach problems with a proactive and
solution-oriented
mindset.
– Be prepared to step in and fulfill the duties of other fleet supervisors in their absence.
– Develop protocols for responding to emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or severe weather conditions.
– Lead investigations into incidents or accidents involving fleet vehicles.
** Requirements**:
– Min ITE holder/Diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
– IT savvy (Words / Excel / Power Point) minimum
– Possess class 3 driving license
– Off on alternate Saturdays
– Independent, self-motivated with good coordination and
communication skills
