The local transport coordinator is a key asset in delivering exceptional service levels to e-llis customers, while acting as a local customer service representative responsible for identifying service flaws and resolving ad-hoc and urgent requests efficiently.

 

What will you do?

This role is integral to continuous improvement efforts, focusing on optimizing processes and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Operationally, the coordinator manages the planning and monitoring of transports and ensures effective customer service, while also analyzing transport costs and developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Serving as the central communication link between e-llis, customers, and carriers, the local coordinator reports directly to the control tower.

This hybrid position is based in Madrid, Spain, and requires fluency in Spanish, as well as a valid driver’s license (not negotiable).

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

(1) (Express) Transport requests management

(2) Transport follow-up.

(3) Communication with all stakeholders.

(4) Continuously search for additional improvements

(5) Transport Costs analysis

(6) Creating and monitoring KPI’s

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Experience in Transport / Logistic environment will be of additional value

 

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

University of Applied Science (economics/logistics) / Higher education

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

* English & Spanish -> Professional in speaking and writing

* Other languages are a plus (Portuguese, Dutch)

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Experience with working with a TMS is a plus

* Valid driver’s license – not negotiable.
