Role Description Trainee Security Executives and Security Executives are responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and security for passengers, staff, and airline assets. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, NY, involving thorough screening of passengers, baggage, and cargo in accordance with regulatory and company procedures. Daily tasks include monitoring restricted areas, checking travel documents, coordinating with ground operations and airport security agencies, and responding promptly to security alerts or incidents. Team members are expected to follow standard operating procedures, maintain detailed security logs, and support compliance with aviation safety regulations. The role requires working in shifts, delivering courteous customer interactions, and upholding SpiceJet’s safety and service values at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and report potential security risks quickly and accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with passengers, colleagues, and airport authorities in a professional manner.
- Ability to follow structured procedures, adhere to regulatory guidelines, and maintain accurate documentation under time pressure.
- Comfort with working in a high-traffic airport environment, including standing for extended periods, shift work, and handling stressful situations calmly.
- Basic computer literacy for using security systems, reporting tools, and internal communication platforms.
- Prior experience in aviation security, ground handling, or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory for trainee positions.
- Minimum educational qualification typically at the high school/graduate level; additional security or safety certifications are beneficial.
