Key Responsibilities

  • Managing traffic flow around construction sites.
  • Installing traffic cones and signs on-site.
  • Communicating efficiently with team members using handheld devices and hand signals.
  • Removing barricades, traffic cones, and signs upon project completion.
  • Directing traffic using hand signals and signage.
  • Alerting the construction crew to any traffic-related safety concerns.
  • Complying with all company rules and regulations.
  • Completing required daily and weekly paperwork promptly.
  • Ensuring proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with Company policy.
  • Safeguarding the safety and security of clients, colleagues, and the public in or near the work zone, adhering to ATSSA standards.
  • Reporting concerns or issues directly to a Field Supervisor.
  • Performing other assigned duties as necessary.

    • Flagger Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License is a must.
  • Clean driving record is required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and maintenance of a drug-free status.
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and twist for extended periods.
  • Capability to repetitively lift 65+ pounds.
  • Team player with the ability to work in challenging and adverse weather conditions.
  • Exceptional observation skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in non-verbal communication techniques such as hand signals and signs.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred but not required:
    Prior experience as a Flagger or in a similar position within the Construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic rules.

    Work Schedule

    • Biweekly pay (every two weeks).
    • Up to 14-hour shifts.
    • Day and night shifts.
    • Work available Monday through Sunday.
    • On-call assignments.

    Uniform

    • We provide PPE (Reflective Vest, Pants, Hard Hat, and Safety Glasses).
    • You are responsible for providing/purchasing your own boots (leather or suede).
