We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join a reputable commodities trading firm as a Trading Operator. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience in coordinating trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare all documents such as sales and purchase contracts and invoices, shipping documents and import/export letters of credit, including negotiation
Monitor and calculate laytime and demurrage to ensure accurate cost reporting and management
Monitor shipments and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders
Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of all activities
Handle all operations or shipment issues that may occur
Regularly update and manage operational data in the system, supporting strategic analysis and reporting
Ensure full compliance with the company’s operational, contractual, and credit risk policies
Key Requirements:
Degree in international trade, maritime, or equivalent
2 years of experience in trade operations
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Team player and independent
