Zipp Express is seeking motivated individuals for a career in the essential and growing transportation industry. As a shipping and logistics expert, you’ll forge strong customer and carrier relationships to provide tailored logistics solutions for diverse shipping needs. We are looking for individuals with some level of experience within the logistics freight industry that understand what it takes to partner with shippers and carriers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Relationship Building & Solution-Oriented Sales: Building and managing client and carrier relationships through cold calling, qualifying and closing deals in a dynamic sales setting
- Masterful Negotiation: Utilizing your negotiation prowess to determine competitive pricing with both carriers and shippers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily shipments, ensuring punctual pick-up and delivery, and swiftly addressing any unforeseen issues using a combination of IC and Company Drivers.
- Logistics Expert: Immerse yourself in industry knowledge by analyzing market data to stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics
Qualifications
- Previous experience in selling transportation services including LTL and Courier services.
- Customer-centric mindset and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable dealing with situational ambiguity
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Previous experience managing Independent Contractors and company employees preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
