Position Overview
The primary responsibility is to pick‑up and drop‑off students, staff and faculty at designated areas around campus. The driver will also provide transportation services to academic, non‑academic departments and athletics.
Schedule
Full‑time positions available. Operation hours Monday through Friday 7:00 A.M. to 2:00 A.M. Services may also be required on weekends and for special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport designated individuals to and from campus locations.
- Deliver transportation services to academic, non‑academic departments and athletics.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
- Adhere to all transportation policies, regulations and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- CDL License with passenger endorsement.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial bus driving experience.
- 5 years of experience preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in operating assigned types of vehicles or equipment.
- Ability to work irregular hours and maintain punctuality.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete electronic application; resumes not accepted.
- Veteran preference applicants must provide DD‑214 or certificate of release/discharge.
- Final candidates subject to background checks.
- Must reside in North Carolina within a 2‑hour commute of the assigned duty station.
