Job Purpose

Ensure 24 x 7 Operations of the Network Surveillance across IT & Technical networks. Ensure network faults are detected immediately and managed end to end till restoration Adhere to SLAs committed and ensure proper follow up of network faults.

Governance and control of all escalated outages to ensure full compliancy with approved relevant TTs processes, escalation matrix, and work flow.

Ensure that Incident Management function issues Incident Reports according to predefined incident severities including as a minimum the following: reason, repetition, owner, business impact, Traffic loss, lost hours, number of affected subscribers, the compliancy to the agreed on SLA to resolve the incident, time and date for each incident occurred in the network.

Responsibilities

Technical NOC Surveillance

Ensure 24 x 7 Operations of the Network Surveillance across Technical domain. Ensuring network faults are detected immediately and managed end to end till restoration Adhere to SLAs committed and ensures proper follow up of network faults until closure.

– Access Network (Transmission, BSS/RAN & Field Maintenance)

– Core Network (CS, PS,IPBB,VAS & Data Centre Operations)

Establish accurate Reporting and reliable Data through multi seek of information from different sources

Supervision function issue and assign to concerned functions (L1 Support, WO Management) a Trouble Ticket relevant to each fault appeared in e& Egypt network through TTs Management System

IT NOC Surveillance

Ensure 24 x 7 monitoring of all IT network services (IN, Infrastructure, Applications, Contact Centre, Middleware, Siebel,…).

Ensuring network faults are detected on time and managed end to end till restoration.

Ensure FO team gets the newest network topology, information, fault categories and fault grading.

Ensure all TTs are created, followed and updated according to the agreed SLAs.

Ensure Shift plan & Shift handover implementation quality.

Audit CR and arrange FO to supervise the service during CR implementation and verify the service status after implementation.

Ensure FO to do data collection, Network performance monitoring 24/7.

Qualifications

Capable to work under pressure

24/7 availability in case of emergencies

Capable to handle multivendor Tasks

Contracts Management

Good Communications Skills and willingness to learn and explore new areas

Very good communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure

EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL

Previous experience with Network configuration & Back Office Activities (RF parameters, 2G/3G/4G Access configuration & Management, Core Network (Voice & Data circuit switching & packet switching).

Previous Experience with Network Operations Structure and functions.

Previous Experience with Managed Services structured Network Operations.

Very Good Computer skills, Advanced MS excel.

Very Good in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).

CERTIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

Bachelor Degree in Telecom Engineering

Minimum 8 years of experience with proficiency in 2G, 3G & 4G networks

Network configuration & Back Office Activities (RF parameters, 2G/3G/4G Access configuration & Management , Core Network (Voice & Data circuit switching & packet switching)

IN & IT fundamentals
