SUMMARY OF POSITION
The position manages the relationship with Adalvo CMO Partners from supply perspective – leading short term supply plan execution.
The Supply Operations Manager will be responsible for operational activities and work with CMOs to ensure that everything is running smoothly—from placing the orders to collecting finished products.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
This role reports to Senior Director, Supply Chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Responsible for overseeing the flow of goods and services through company’s supply chain.
- Responsible for order management for a defined number of products manufactured at CMOs.
- Regular Open order alignment with CMOs, frequency depending on the complexity and need.
- Short term production alignment & constraints handling (prioritization, allocation).
- Responsible for timely order fulfillment including organization and management of physical shipment of goods in collaboration with freight forwarders.
- Monthly review demand plans. Establish and oversee an optimal supply plan (3 – 24 months) with the goal of balance. customer service level, production capabilities at External supplier, operational cost and potential write-offs.
- Follow up of Transport costs, Vendor performance manage cost measurement and analysis.
- Perform maintenance of supply chain KPIs.
- Maintain adequate planning & master data parameters (e.g., MOQ, Lead Times, order frequency) setting for active assortment in close collaboration with launch team and with external partner.
- Assure implementation of life cycle management changes with external partner (master data, supply plan, delivery).
- Toll Reconciliation (if applicable for the accounts managed).
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials when applicable.
- Communication to all stakeholders around supply.
- Establish Supply Chain Processes with new suppliers in collaboration with Supply Process Manager.
- Developing strategies for reducing operating costs while maintaining high quality standards for products
- Travelling is required.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good command of English written and spoken
- Several years of work experience in any of the fields of supply chain management, planning, logistics and inventory management; experience in the Pharma industry is a must.
- Use of MS Office tools (Work, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Knowledge of SAP different modules including APO
