Job description

Purchasing

  • Receive and process purchasing requests from internal departments.
  • Plan purchasing activities based on sales forecasts and actual inventory levels.
  • Request quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Draft and monitor purchase contracts.
  • Track delivery progress and resolve delays or unexpected issues.
  • Control purchasing costs in accordance with the approved budget.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to monitor supplier payables.

Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers.
  • Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
  • Develop and update the strategic supplier list.
  • Compare pricing, product quality, and commercial terms among suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers.
  • Propose supplier replacement when quality or pricing is no longer competitive.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

  • Plan domestic and international transportation.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers and freight forwarders.
  • Monitor shipment and delivery progress.
  • Control inventory levels and inventory turnover.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inbound, outbound, and stock records.
  • Optimize logistics costs.
  • Analyze supply chain data and propose process improvements.
  • Manage supply chain risks (disruptions, delivery delays, price fluctuations).

Cost Management & Reporting

  • Monitor purchasing and logistics costs according to the approved budget.
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc supply chain reports.
  • Propose solutions to optimize supply chain performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Import-Export, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 4 years of experience in supply chain management; experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including purchasing, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Proficiency in Business English.
  • Experience in international purchasing/import-export is preferred.
  • Strong data analysis capability.
  • Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, etc.
  • Cost optimization mindset and risk management capability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
