Role Overview
:Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Operations Manager will serve as Ogee's primary operational point of contact across third-party logistics providers, retailers, and internal business functions. This role is responsible for managing operational execution, fulfillment center performance, retailer compliance, chargeback mitigation, cross-functional programs, and key business initiatives that support Ogee's continued growth across DTC and wholesale channels
.The Supply Chain Operations Manager will act as the operational quarterback of the organization, coordinating efforts across Supply Chain, Finance, Wholesale, Ecommerce, and Customer Experience to ensure seamless execution of inventory flow, order fulfillment, retailer compliance, and strategic operational initiatives
.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain operations, logistics, retailer compliance, and operational program management within a beauty, consumer products, or high-growth omnichannel environment. They will be a strong communicator and relationship builder, capable of managing a network of vendors, partners, and stakeholders while driving accountability, process improvement, and operational excellence
.Responsibilities
- :Third-Party Logistics & Fulfillment Management: Oversee Ogee's day-to-day relationship with third-party logistics providers, ensuring inventory accuracy, fulfillment performance, service level adherence, and operational excellence. Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and partner with vendors to drive timely resolution. Lead regular business reviews, monitor service level agreements, evaluate operational performance, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
- .Vendor & Partner Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for key vendors including SPS Commerce, freight providers, fulfillment partners, and future operational partners. Manage vendor scorecards, contract adherence, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), annual business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Foster strong partnerships while driving accountability and performance
- .EDI & Retail Operations: Own operational coordination related to retailer onboarding, EDI integrations, retailer compliance requirements, routing guides, Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) accuracy, and operational communications. Partner closely with Wholesale and Ecommerce teams to support successful execution across Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Bluemercury, QVC, Amazon, and future retail partners and e-commerce channels. Serve as the primary operational liaison between Ogee, retailers, third-party logistics providers, and EDI partners
- .Retail Compliance, Chargeback Management & Operational Performance: Oversee Ogee's retailer compliance and chargeback management processes across all wholesale channels. Serve as the primary operational owner for retailer deductions, compliance reporting, dispute management, and corrective action planning. Partner closely with Wholesale, Finance, Customer Experience, SPS Commerce, and third-party logistics providers to investigate chargebacks, identify root causes, coordinate dispute submissions, and implement corrective actions designed to reduce future exposure
- .Retailer Scorecards & Chargeback Analytics: Monitor retailer scorecards, routing guide compliance, ASN accuracy, carton labeling requirements, shipment timeliness, EDI performance, fulfillment accuracy, and on-time/in-full (OTIF) performance. Develop reporting and analytics that provide visibility into chargeback trends, financial impact, dispute success rates, and retailer-specific performance metrics. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational controls and minimize financial losses associated with deductions and penalties
- .Program & Project Management: Lead cross-functional operational initiatives including warehouse transitions, systems implementations, retailer onboarding projects, EDI enhancements, and process improvement initiatives. Develop project plans, track milestones, manage stakeholder communication, identify risks, and ensure successful execution across multiple departments and external partners
- .Operational Reporting & Governance: Establish and maintain operational reporting frameworks to monitor KPIs including fulfillment performance, inventory accuracy, vendor performance, freight expenses, chargeback rates, chargeback recovery rates, retailer scorecard performance, ASN accuracy, OTIF performance, and service levels. Use data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and provide actionable insights to leadership
- .Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Partner closely with the Director of Supply Chain to support inventory management activities, inventory movement planning, inventory reconciliations, and operational execution of inventory strategies. Monitor inventory risks and proactively communicate issues that may impact customer service levels, retailer performance, or financial results
- .Operational Strategy & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational effectiveness across fulfillment, logistics, retailer compliance, and vendor management processes. Develop and document standard operating procedures and support implementation of best practices throughout the organization
- .Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports and cross-functional team members supporting supply chain operations. Set clear goals and performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage workload prioritization, resource planning, and professional development to build and sustain a high-performing operations team
- .Data Management: Serve as the accountable owner for the maintenance, integrity, and accuracy of Ogee’s product data master. While code creation and system configuration are handled by technical partners, this role is accountable for ensuring product master data—which technically resides within the third-party logistics provider’s warehouse management system (WMS)—remains accurate, complete, and up to date. Establish data governance standards, audit routines, and change-control processes to maintain consistency across systems and ensure reliable inventory, fulfillment, and reporting outcomes

- e5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, fulfillment, or operations management
- .Experience managing third-party logistics providers and operational vendors
- .Experience supporting DTC and wholesale channels
- .Experience leading cross-functional projects and operational initiatives
- .Experience managing retailer compliance and chargeback programs preferred
- .Experience supporting major retail partners including Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, department stores, specialty retailers, or other large wholesale accounts preferred
- .Beauty, cosmetics, skincare, apparel, consumer products, or CPG experience preferred

- .Deep understanding of fulfillment operations, retailer compliance, EDI, chargeback management, and supply chain processes
- .Experience working with SPS Commerce or similar EDI platforms
