Salary: Up to $110,000
We are seeking an Import/Export Compliance Manager to serve as the key point of contact for all international trade activities across North America. This role partners closely with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Customer Success, Engineering, and external vendors to ensure full compliance with global trade regulations while supporting efficient and cost-effective operations.
What You’ll Own
- Lead all import/export compliance activities across the U.S. and Mexico
- Act as the escalation point for brokers and carriers to ensure timely customs clearance
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of all trade documentation (commercial invoices, HTS, CoO, ECCN, USMCA, etc.)
- Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to support compliant inbound and outbound shipments
- Ensure compliance with trade laws (EAR, ITAR, Customs) through documentation, audits, and process controls
- Develop, maintain, and improve import/export policies and procedures
- Conduct audits and identify process improvements to mitigate risk and drive efficiency
- Analyze freight and logistics data to identify cost savings opportunities
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies and customer issues
- Support responses to government inquiries, audits, and compliance-related matters
- Serve as the subject matter expert on trade compliance and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–7+ years of experience in import/export compliance
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trade regulations (EAR, ITAR, Customs)
- Background in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Prior leadership or team management experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complexity and solve problems proactively
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
