Responsible for leading all Supply Chain activities across planning, inventory management, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, and supply chain analytics. Accountable for developing and executing the regional supply chain strategy while ensuring operational excellence, inventory optimisation, customer satisfaction, and cost control.
Leads the Supply Chain function through direct management of the Supply Chain team. Drives continuous improvement through enhanced reporting, business intelligence, process automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and predictive analytics.
Serves as the key liaison between Operations, Sales, Finance, Customer Care, Product Management, and Global Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment of supply and demand strategies with business objectives
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Leadership
• Lead, develop, and manage the regional Supply Chain team to achieve organisational and
operational objectives.
• Establish and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, customer service, cost optimisation, and inventory targets.
• Define department goals, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned to company objectives.
• Serve as the escalation point for critical supply chain, inventory, logistics, and customer fulfilment
issues.
• Develop team capability through coaching, succession planning, and employee development.
Planning & Inventory Management
• Oversee demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and replenishment activities.
• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment between forecast, supply, inventory, and financial plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, product availability, inventory levels, and service performance.
• Drive initiatives to reduce excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining targeted service
levels.
• Ensure effective management of product life cycle activities including NPD launches, engineering
changes, and product discontinuations.
Logistics & Distribution
• Provide strategic oversight of inbound and outbound logistics operations, transportation
providers, warehousing activities, and inventory deployment.
• Drive freight optimisation initiatives to reduce transportation costs while maintaining customer
service expectations.
• Develop and manage relationships with logistics providers, freight partners, and distribution
networks.
• Ensure compliance with trade, customs, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive supply chain reporting framework to drive visibility,
accountability, and performance management.
• Create executive dashboards and KPI scorecards utilizing Power BI, Oracle Analytics, or similar
reporting platforms.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
• Present supply chain performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Drive standardization and automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and data
accuracy.
Digital Transformation & AI
• Lead the implementation and adoption of digital tools, automation solutions, and AI-driven supply chain capabilities.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve forecasting, inventory optimisation, supplier performance, and
logistics efficiency through data analytics and artificial intelligence.
• Champion continuous improvement through process automation and digital innovation.
• Partner with Information Technology teams to develop and execute supply chain technology
roadmaps.
• Promote responsible and effective use of AI technologies across supply chain processes and
decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Care, Product Management, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain teams.
• Support business planning processes with accurate supply chain insights and recommendations.
• Align regional supply chain execution with global strategies, policies, and best practices.
• Drive collaboration across functions to improve customer experience and operational
effectiveness.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations
Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or Operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years people leadership experience.
• Experience leading S&OP processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
• Experience developing reporting, dashboarding, and business intelligence solutions.
• Experience utilizing predictive analytics, automation tools, or digital transformation initiatives
