We have an invitation waiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager based in Memphis, TN. This role will be crucial in overseeing our supply chain operations and managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient and effective distribution for both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and wholesale channels. Partnering with established third‐party logistics and warehousing service providers in the US, and supervising inventory flow to both wholesale and online‐retail customers in multiple countries will require a blend of strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Success will be measured through the cost‐effective management of timely product delivery when and where it is needed.
Responsibilities:
3PL Coordination: manage third-party logistics providers, negotiating service pricing and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal performance.
Logistics Operations: Oversee logistics operations, including order processing, fulfillment, distribution, and returns management, ensuring a seamless experience for both DTC and wholesale customers.
Negotiate rates for all third‐party supply chain services and freight forwarders
Own the flow of inventory from factories to warehouses, and then from warehouses to wholesale and online‐retail customers
Supervise the returns and exchange process with customers to ensure timely and accurate service
Ensure that accurate inventory counts are consistently maintained throughout the supply chain, including in‐transit, at warehouses, and at on‐line retail stores
Monitor inventory shrinkage and scrap to minimize losses
Develop and report appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility to others regarding supply chain performance
Partner with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Sales, Customer Support, and Finance to ensure that the customer experience is elevated to a level that differentiates our brand
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in production planning and inventory management
8+ years of progressive experience in a supply chain organization, with direct responsibilities that include supply chain and inventory management
Postino is located in the greater Memphis, TN area
Superior analytical and problem‐solving skills in a dynamic environment
Mastery of spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) and online reporting applications (e.g. Shopify)
Proven relationship management skills with internal and external business partners
An independent mind with innate curiosity and propensity toward action
