SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD
Brussels · Full-Time
ahooga.bike
WHO WE ARE
Ahooga was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Brussels. Our mission is simple: accelerate bike adoption for happier cities. We design compact, beautifully engineered urban bikes — with and without electric support — entirely in-house, and manufacture them in Belgium.
We've grown from a local brand to a European player with 150+ multi-brand dealers across the continent and our own flagship store in Brussels. In 2024 we launched Max, our most ambitious product yet — the start of a serious international push. We're growing fast, and we're building the team to match.
THE ROLE
Supply chain is the engine behind our growth — and right now, it needs a strong hand. We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Lead who can hit the ground running, bring structure and control to a fast-moving operation, and help us scale without losing grip on quality, lead times, or costs.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You'll be embedded in a small, energetic team and expected to manage the full supply chain picture — from purchase orders and supplier management to inbound logistics, warehouse coordination, and performance reporting. You'll also be a key voice in building better processes as we grow.
You'll report to the Finance & Supply Chain Manager and work primarily from our Brussels HQ, with some flexibility for remote work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own purchase order management for bikes, components, and spare parts — from creation through supplier confirmation, lead time tracking, and delivery follow-up.
- Keep production status visible and up to date; ensure supply and sales plans stay in sync.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics end-to-end: book shipments (domestic and overseas), coordinate with freight forwarders, and hold logistics partners accountable on delivery.
- Oversee inbound processing with the warehouse and manage outbound flows to customers and retailers.
- Maintain clean, accurate product and order data in Odoo; work cross-functionally to keep master data reliable.
- Be the supply chain interface for sales, production, finance, and warehouse teams — keeping everyone aligned on supply status, delays, and priorities.
- Handle supplier invoicing and logistics billing; ensure smooth financial reconciliation.
- Run regular inventory counts across internal and external warehouses; build reporting for Finance and audit requirements.
- Actively scout and evaluate alternative suppliers (components, logistics, packaging) to improve cost, quality, and resilience.
- Monitor incoming component and bike quality in close collaboration with production and warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, customs and export requirements, and relevant product standards.
- Contribute to demand forecasting and supply planning alongside sales and production.
Ensure spare parts availability for after-sales and service needs across the dealer network.
- Own supply chain KPI reporting: lead times, stock levels, supplier reliability, backorder rates — and drive continuous improvement against them.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years in a supply chain role in the bike or broader cycling industry — you know the landscape, the suppliers, and the seasonality.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-SKU supply chains in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a meaningful advantage.
- Solid grasp of international logistics, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Driving license
- Able to work inside the EU w/o our sponsorship
How You Work
- You take full ownership — you don't wait to be asked and you don't drop balls.
- You're structured and detail-oriented, but you move fast and adapt easily.
- You're a natural problem-solver who can zoom out to see the bigger picture without losing grip on the details.
- You thrive in ambiguity and can build order out of chaos without needing a perfect brief.
- You're not afraid to get your hands dirty — in a small team, everyone does what it takes and if needed acts beyond scope of responsibility.
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive compensation. A real seat at the table from day one. The chance to make decisions that would take years to get near in a corporate environment. A tight-knit, diverse team that moves fast and genuinely enjoys what they do.
