We are now looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring efficient logistics operations, material availability, and smooth supply chain processes supporting our aviation operations. The position is part of the Nordic Supply Chain team and reports directly to the Supply Chain Lead Norway.

In Norway, Avincis operates a nationwide air ambulance service on behalf of the Norwegian Air Ambulance Service (Luftambulansetjenesten HF). With decades of experience in airborne patient transportation, we provide safe and efficient transport of patients, healthcare personnel, and medical equipment across the country. Operating a modern fleet from multiple bases throughout Norway, we ensure high availability and rapid response times, even under challenging weather and operational conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Source quotations, evaluate suppliers, and execute procurement activities
  • Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Handle supplier claims, discrepancies, and non-conformities
  • Support both aviation-related and general procurement activities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Receive, register, pick, pack, and dispatch goods
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock control
  • Participate in annual inventory counts
  • Ensure correct labeling, storage, and handling of aviation components in accordance with aviation regulations

Operational Support & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the maintenance organization and other departments
  • Participate in maintenance planning and logistics coordination meetings
  • Support rapid and effective solutions during operational challenges and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations
  • Participate in supplier meetings related to deliveries, invoicing, claims, and technical matters

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable EASA regulations
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Experience within logistics, procurement, warehousing, or supply chain operations
  • Experience from the aviation industry is an advantage
  • Experience with supplier management and purchasing processes

Professional Competencies

  • Knowledge of EASA regulations and aviation-related procedures is beneficial but not required
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and international freight operations
  • Experience with MRP systems or similar ERP solutions

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with inventory and procurement systems
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is desirable

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
  • Forklift certification
  • Dangerous goods certification is an advantage
  • Ability to handle physical warehouse operations and lift goods when required
