About the role
Intertan is a leading company in Greece in the sector of import and distribution of packaging products. We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations. The candidate will work on-site, at our premises in Ritsona,Greece.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate inbound supply planning to ensure product availability in line with business demand and inventory targets.
· Enter data into the system.
· Plan and coordinate container loading by defining SKU allocation, supplier priorities, shipment schedules, and container utilization.
· Liaise daily with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehouse operations, sales teams, and customers to ensure smooth execution of import activities.
· Prepare operational reports covering expected shortages, inbound shipments, estimated arrival dates, and container contents.
· Coordinate direct container deliveries and support import-related documentation and invoicing processes.
· Determine daily receiving priorities based on inventory status and business requirements.
· Ensure suppliers maximize container utilization while meeting agreed purchasing and supply priorities.
· Identify potential supply risks or delays and proactively communicate and implement corrective actions.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain and logistics operations.
Required Qualifications
· 1-3 years of experience in relevant position. Further experience will be appreciated.
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Good command of written and spoken English.
