Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a well-established Oil & Gas company in Downtown Denver on a long-term contract basis. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to grow professionally in supply chain operations and logistics.
Position Details:
Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Downtown Denver
Contract Length: 6 months to start
Pay Rate: $28–$30 per hour
Work Schedule Options (Full Time):
Option 1: 8.5 hours/day M–Th, 6 hours on Friday
Option 2 (Most Popular): 9 hours/day M–Th, 4 hours on Friday
Travel: Up to 10% (North Dakota & Wyoming for vendor meetings, team building, etc.)
Equipment Provided: Laptop, cell phone, building badge
About the Role:
This role supports various individuals and category groups within the Supply Chain department. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, asks questions, and thrives in fast-paced, shifting environments. You’ll receive hands-on training from a lead within the team and support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify department invoices and apply any available discounts
Ensure vendor submission procedures are followed
Contact and follow up with inactive vendors
Organize and file vendor and equipment documentation
Maintain equipment records and generate regular reports
Oversee new vendor setup and onboarding
Coordinate freight logistics
Assist in annual physical yard counts and reconciliation
Qualifications:
Required:
Exceptional Excel skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, quick learner, and proactive
Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
Preferred:
Background in oil & gas or accounting
Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, or administrative roles
Comfortable in professional client-facing settings (e.g., team dinners or vendor meetings)
Soft Skills Needed:
Organized and detail-oriented
Able to pivot and reprioritize effectively
Comfortable networking and engaging with vendors/team members
Adaptable to changing demands and business needs
Onboarding Requirements:
Background check
Drug screen (including THC)
One professional reference required prior to start
