For this entry level role, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Assistant to support the seamless flow of materials, products, and information that drive our operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with our supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure our handcrafted collections arrive on time and in style. Responsibilities:
Coordinates the movement of materials and finished goods, both domestically and internationally, ensuring timely and efficient freight operations.
Maintains strong, positive relationships with customers, distributors, and suppliers to support smooth supply chain communication and collaboration.
Prepares and issues accurate invoices for both domestic and international shipments.
Assists in compiling and submitting all required documentation to ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
Monitors transportation providers to ensure the use of the most cost-effective and appropriate shipping methods.
Communicates regularly with freight forwarders, customs brokers, domestic carriers, insurance providers, and claims adjusters to facilitate seamless logistics and resolve any issues.
Processes purchase orders using SAP to support procurement and inventory management functions.
Generates essential shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, and shipping labels.
Resolves customer concerns and pricing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner to maintain service excellence.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills are essential.
Exceptional phone etiquette and a professional demeanor are necessary to provide outstanding customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Excellent organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, are essential.
Effective time management skills are required to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
