Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain processes within our automotive manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain management, and an understanding of the automotive industry’s unique demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and improve supply chain operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and lead times.

Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to streamline sourcing, logistics, and delivery processes.

Evaluate and monitor supplier performance based on key metrics like quality, cost, and delivery times.

Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supply chain performance, metrics, and forecasts for senior management.

Assist in the implementation of supply chain technology solutions to improve visibility and traceability.

Work closely with the production, procurement, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.

Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulatory requirements affecting the automotive supply chain.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.

2-4 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

Proficiency in data analysis and experience using ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Advanced skills in MS Excel and data visualization tools.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments and with suppliers.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.

Experience with automotive manufacturing supply chains.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
