The Supply and Demand Specialist is responsible for achieving the purchasing and supply chain objectives in terms of delivery, performance, quality and costs. The Supply and Demand Specialist will be reporting into the Supply & Demand Team Leader and overlooking the replenishment and days of inventory for their workbench.

As a Supply and Demand Specialist you will

  • Achieve the purchasing and supply chain objectives in terms of delivery performance, inventory management and KPI across workbench costs and all aspects of purchasing
  • Responsible for the optimal planning in SAP, implementation and continuous improvement of supply chain processes in close coordination with purchasing team
  • Preparation and analysis of supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) (supplier service level, stock levels, assortment efficiency, fulfilment rate, purchase value and YoY growth)
  • Ensuring compliance of the requirements for suppliers and freight forwarders for goods delivery in coordination with 3PL logistics
  • Supply chain meetings with suppliers for continuous optimization of the supply chain and logistics requirements
  • Provide and work closely with Supply Chain Managers and Buyers in developing inventories strategies on existing lines, new products and phase out of stock
  • Lead and develop relevant reports to assist with the return, promotion or destructions of stock process in conjunction with both Logistics and Purchasing
  • Update and review monthly sales performance across all category articles and work with Promotion Manager and Buyer in understanding areas of improvements and execution
  • Review and assist with continuous improvements of forecasting so that we can better anticipate spikes, customer needs, business trends and initial buy

What you should bring along:

  • Strong interest/experience in Supply Chain operations
  • Technical affinity: become a SAP F&R subject matter expert; optimize performance and ordering
  • Analytical mindset with solid data/statistics skills
  • Advanced Excel (Power Query); Power BI a plus
  • ERP experience (SAP/R3 Retail or similar)
  • Quality improvement, process audits, and operational planning across purchasing & supply chain
  • Diligence and accuracy in routine tasks
  • Collaborative communication and stakeholder management
  • Proactive, continuous learner who stays ahead of software updates and automates processes
