Position: SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Job Title
The duties of this position include:
Providing for the planning, direction, coordination, and control of all inventory management and program management functions performed within the NAVAIR Branch.
Representing the organization as an expert in ammunition logistics business processes, in efforts to develop solutions to Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) and stockpile management problems.
Serving as the subject matter expert with issues regarding acquisition, ordnance stratification, item cataloging, transportation, non-combat expenditure allocations (NCEA), and non-nuclear ordnance requirements (NNOR).
Overseeing the global analysis of ordnance stockpile requirements that affect the Navy’s ability to support regional contingencies/other war fighting scenarios, and ensuring that ordnance positioning plans comply with requirements.
Being responsible for the oversight of inventory management and distribution functions for NAVAIR-managed Navy conventional and USMC aviation conventional ordnance.
