This position coordinates reservations & customer service with sales teams, DHL regional capacity management team(CAPMAN) & Polar Control Tower (PCT) and manages reservation & customer service teams to improve productivity. Create, develop, implement, and monitor procedures and services that increase the profitability and productivity of the country.

Responsibilities

Manage customer Service team to create productivity for daily tasks

Lead the team to maintain a positive working environment with team spirit, and provide guideline and support to each team member

Grow and develop individual team members.

Create an environment that encourages teamwork by collaborating with the Sales team, including the Sales manager of difficult situations

Conduct customer visit along with sales team to establish a good rapport with customers.

Coordinate with Polar Control Tower and DHL capacity management team(CAPMAN) and make a plan to avoid any potential voids & maximize the utilization of the ULDs.

Assure Reservation and Customer Service activities are complying with in terms of company compliance and administrative aspects

Responsible for team roster planning

Develop and implement processes and tools for optimal daily capacity and revenue planning in close cooperation with sales.

Prepare and evaluate both strategic and temporary schedule changes.

Identify and deliver freight allocation and pallet build-up with the station manager and seek solutions

Proactively collect cargoes from customers when booking is not sufficient to fill the allocations

Coordinate with Sales team to achieve the goals.

Respond to customers’ questions, problems, requests and/or complaints.

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum 7years of experience in air cargo industry

5 years or above experiences as manager or equivalent level of experience.

Thorough understanding of air cargo industry in both commercial and operational aspects

High degree of decision making skills and stress resistance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven track record in providing leadership in supervisory roles

High proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

Strong interpersonal skills and reliable

Good initiative and ability to work independently
