Job Description
This position assists in providing database-related support and guidance to internal and external departments.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience in database loading practices and applications
- Monitor department email inbox to ensure timely responses
- Maintain a positive attitude and high accuracy level in a fast-paced environment
- Perform audits of daily database loading items
- Assistance with various analytical and administrative tasks
- Submit backdate/rerate requests when necessary to correct pricing application on freight bills
- Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals
- Assist with loading customer, rating, or special notes
- Ensure accurate customer pricing is loaded into the rating system database
- Other duties and projects, as assigned
- Assist with weekly fuel surcharge updates for modified fuel applications
- Assist with pricing auto-loads
- Assist with logging and tracking goal measures
- Prepare publication documents and distribute for loading
Requirements
Education:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business or related field, required
Experience:
- No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent Excel, spreadsheet, and reporting skills

Other Details
Work Hours:
- This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal (0%-25%)
Compensation:
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
