Position Overview

To be the focal point of responsibility for delivery of the station systems necessary for the Operation of Etihad rail mobility conventional speed passenger services.

Roles and Responsibilities

To be the internal knowledgeable expert for this system and be fully conversant on all the station systems, their interfaces, design, function, implementation, and operation as needed for this railway system operation. To engage and drive the consultants as needed in delivering suitable, meaningful, clear, concise, efficient, and complete documentation and specifications for defining the requirements and functionality of any as yet unspecified stations system in a usable set of documents.

To work closely with Etihad Rail Stations delivery and systems Integrations teams to ensure delivery and ensure information needed for interfacing of other systems are ready, available, and adequate. To take prime position in driving any new tenders needed arising from the consultant’s documentation. To engage and drive the awarded contractor(s) in delivering an integrated functional system and all services tested and without significant issues on time for system go live in Mid-2025.

To interface as needed with ER Mobility, ER Infrastructure, and ER Freight as needed to ensure timely progress and minimal system interface issues. It is important to ensure any problems, delays, or other undesirable events are brought to the attention of the line manager as soon as possible to enable a quick resolution.  Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Academic

Qualifications:

• University Degree or higher in Computer systems or IT related field

Professional

Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience implementing IT Systems for Railway stations/depot three or more of: SCADA/ICSS/SICS/MMIS/BMS/CCTV/VRS/ACS/PAVA/MSN/PIS/NMSCMMS/WLAN/LAN/WiFi/Cyber Security

Experience:

• 15 years’ experience on railway operations or railway projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
