About the Role: The Logistics Specialist at RSSE is responsible for managing and overseeing the logistics, maintenance, and coordination of vehicles used for the company’s adventure activities and guest services. This role ensures that all transportation needs, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and compliance, are met in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. By working closely with the operations, guest services, and maintenance teams, the Logistics Executive ensures that all vehicles are safe, properly maintained, and available for daily use. This role also involves administrative support for transportation-related tasks, including tracking schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and handling any logistical challenges to ensure smooth and seamless operations. The objective is to provide reliable, safe, and high-quality transportation services that enhance guest experience and contribute to the overall efficiency of RSSE’s operations.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Scheduling and Coordination: Oversee and manage the scheduling of vehicles for daily operations, ensuring timely availability for all transportation needs related to activities and guest services.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspections: Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, conducting regular checks and coordinating with the maintenance team for any repairs or servicing.

Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, fuel logs, and necessary documentation to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Inventory Management: Track and manage transportation-related inventory, including vehicle supplies, safety equipment, and necessary documentation (e.g., licenses, insurance).

Guest Transportation Support: Coordinate transportation for guests to and from activity locations, ensuring smooth and efficient transfers.

Logistical Coordination: Work with other departments to ensure proper transportation logistics for various activities, events, or guest requests.

Incident Reporting: Document and report any accidents, issues, or vehicle-related incidents, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.

Cost Tracking and Budgeting: Monitor transportation-related costs, including fuel, maintenance, and vehicle repairs, and assist with budget tracking.

Communication with External Vendors: Coordinate with external transportation vendors or service providers when necessary, ensuring timely delivery of services and compliance with company standards.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle urgent transportation issues or guest needs, providing prompt solutions to ensure operations are not disrupted.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills:

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and transportation schedules efficiently and accurately.

Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate tracking of vehicle usage, maintenance, and related documentation.
