What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage transportation oversight from origin to destination, including tracking shipments in assigned lanes
Monitor carrier performance and address any transportation-related issues, documenting investigations as necessary
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
Support process improvement programs for global distribution warehouse and manage customs clearance
What Is Required (Qualifications)
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Forwarding (air), Transportation coordination (air), or a related field, or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same areas
Experience with Transportation Management Systems
Familiarity with international shipping paperwork and customs agents
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and web applications
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with temperature control practices
Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems
Familiarity with clinical supply trial business and related activities
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Understanding of international distribution channels and strategies
