Location: Hounslow
Role Overview As a Cargo Screener at Securitas, you are a key part of the Aviation security operation, using x-ray machines, you will be conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items in cargo to be transported, recording and escalating any issues of concern.
Specific duties will include:
Required to perform various tasks such as: operation of x-ray machines, physical inspection of cargo and lifting and carrying freight.
Responsible for using x-ray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto the aircraft.
Maintain focus and awareness within a demanding environment, which includes distractions from within the airport environment.
Make effective decisions depending on situation
Flexible to work various shift lengths dependent on the volume of cargo
Additional Information:
You will be required to attend a mandatory 3.5 week training course in Israel where you will receive indepth knowledge to provide you with the skills to operate as a Specialist Security Agent.
Opportunities to progress through further training.
Requirement of 37.5 hours per week with an opportunity for overtime if available.
