We are currently on a search for a Snr Specialist – Logistics Commercial to join the largest manufacturer and distributor of major appliances in Southern Africa, to be based in Midrand. This role will be responsible for supporting the logistics and supply chain operations with commercial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to enhance cost efficiency and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze logistics & warehouse commercial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in developing and implementing commercial strategies for logistics operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for decision-making.
Support procurement and supplier negotiations with cost analysis and benchmarking.
Collaborate with various departments to optimize the end-to-end supply chain.
Support with account payable process.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for logistics & warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to logistics & warehouse operational efficiencies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Commercial Analysis
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Own transport is required due to the nature of the role.
A proactive mindset with a strong eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
