Shunt Driver
to join our client in
Edmonton
.
What We Offer: 
Salary:27 CAD Per Hour
Job Type/Shift: Full-time (Morning and Evening Shift)

What You’ll Do: 
Operate shunt truck to move trailers and containers within the yard
Inspect vehicles for defects and report any issues to maintenance team
Ensure trailers and containers are safely secured and properly positioned
Keep accurate records of movements and trailer/container locations
Communicate with other yard personnel to coordinate movements and prioritize tasks
Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
Assist with loading and unloading of trailers/containers as needed
Perform basic maintenance tasks on shunt truck, such as fueling and cleaning
What We’re Looking For: 
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Completion of Dangerous Goods course and possession of certificate
Completion of WHIMIS course and possession of certificate
Valid driver’s license
Previous experience operating and driving a shunt truck
Ability to open truck door and transition in and out of vehicle multiple times per shift Ability to manage deadlines in high transactional environment
