SUMMARY
Responsible for the organizing, scheduling, and directing of the shipping and receiving on a day-to-day basis. Works with all department employees to ensure that material and products move into and out of the facility in an efficient and accurate manner. Will route all outbound and inbound freight as required by the schedule. Demonstrate leadership, multi-tasking skills, and a cooperative sense of urgency by pursuing improvements and change while accomplishing the tasks as outlined in the SOP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned in or outside of the regular work area.
. Reviews counts and related paperwork.
Manages all warehouse functions and assists with inventory.
Helps to direct shipping/receiving/warehouse personnel to accomplish work
responsibilities. Covers responsibilities in the case of absences.
Establishes freight rates and discounts on pertinent incoming and outbound freight.
Recommends equipment requirements and replacement needs to Material Operations Manager.
Assists with inventory control of all warehoused parts, materials and supplies.
Cycle Counts of finished goods.
Enforces and follows company policies.
All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED): one to three months related experience and/or training: equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Willing and able to become Forklift Certified by MMI.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
Pay: $22-25/hour DOE
