Shipping Packager Jobs in Bridgman, MI at R&D Laminations Inc.
Responsible for picking and packing of customer orders, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Shipping Manager.
Description:
· Accurately picks materials for customer orders and packs the materials for shipment
· Ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures
· Completes hazardous materials (DOT/IATA) training
· Processes/tracks customer orders in computer software, StarShip/Sage 100 (will train)
· Schedule freight shipments, when necessary
· Assists with investigation of customer complaints as related to shipping
· Assist with daily inventory counts and production when needed
· Assist with Investigation of customer complaints and any inventory discrepancies related to shipping
· Performs inventory adjustments
· Performs additional duties as required by Shipping Manager
Other requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Simple math skills
- Forklift Certification or experience is a must
- Lifting up to 50 lbs daily
- Keeping work area clean and orderly
- HS or GED required
- Time management/performs well under pressure
- Accuracy and efficiency are imperative
- Multi-tasking is 80% of the position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
