Summary
As a Shipping Lead at Advance Displays, you will play a critical role in overseeing shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Your leadership will help maintain our commitment to excellence and enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Implement process improvements to enhance shipping workflows and reduce costs.
Oversee inbound and outbound freight and ensure compliance with packaging standards..
Train and mentor team members on best practices in shipping and logistics.
Collaborate with other departments to align shipping schedules with production timelines.
Drive team culture by living company core values
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. internal team members, carriers, etc.)
Requirements
Proven experience as a Shipping Lead or in a similar logistics role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Familiarity with shipping and inventory systems and processes.
Experience processing LTL and Full Truckload freight shipments preferred.
Ability to lift heavy items safely and effectively as needed.
Forklift certification required.
