What You'll Be Doing?
Evyap is seeking a Shipping Executive to coordinate end-to-end shipping and logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of good
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all freight booking being place on time with booking party, carrier or liner in term of low cost freight, earliest sailing schedule, fast transit time and good service for all finish products
- Arranging samples product via courier or air freight as requested by Sales (If any)
- Follow up and ensure that every containers being haul on time considering cargo readiness available to load, minimize the unnecessary cost incur e.g trailer detention, demurrage and detention, outside port storage, etc.
- Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders e.g sales and customer service, procurement, Logistics, warehouse, operation, account and finance for related shipments and documentation as well as resolve problems.
- Co-ordinate with external parties e.g forwarding agent, shipping line/agents for related shipment arrangement.
- Ensure in-house application system is up to date timely and accurately for superior and management report generation, monitoring, review and tracking.
- Ensure the export shipping file is properly kept for ease traceability.
- Update billing invoices under freight cost in SAP for payment processes on achieving excellence in total supply chain management.
- Work together with superior and management for continuous improvement processes on achieving excellence in total supply chain management.
- Maintain good attendance, health workstyle and promote team work within section, department and whole organization.
- Skillful in negotiation of rates/last minute haulage arrangement/last minute space commitment form Liners/ Carriers/ liaison with Custom Officer.
Job Requirements
- Minimum a Degree or Diploma in Transport & Logistics / Business Administration or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience (Experience in Oleochemical/ Chemical/Refinery industry will be added advantage)
- SAP knowledge is advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking & problem solving skills
- Ale to work under pressure and meet tight datelines
- Able to work in Pasir Gudang area.
