Argosea Services Limited is an independent, Irish owned shipping company established in 1970.

Argosea Services Limited is recruiting for a full time position based at our office at Foynes, Co. Limerick. 

As a key part of the shipping operations team & reporting directly to the Agency Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing of vessels in port. This will include duties such as acting as point of contact for customers & external partners/contractors, coordinating the loading & discharging of vessels in the port, stock/inventory & warehouse operations reporting, maintaining accurate import & export documentation, planning for incoming marine traffic, resolving issues & supporting the management team with their ongoing duties.

Experience/Skills required:

Generally office hours but also operating as part of a 24/7 after hours duty roster.

Responsibilities to include Ship Agency, loading/discharging vessels and warehousing duties. 

The candidate should have a 3rd level qualification and/or 3 years relevant experience. 

Office duties to include import and export documentation.

A willingness to learn and contribute to the team effort is essential. 

Full/clean driving licence required. 

Salary commensurate with previous experience

The Offer:

This position is being offered as a permanent role with a generous base salary on offer but depending on candidate skills & experience to date.

 

This position will be fully office based in Foynes, Co. Limerick so candidates will ideally be based in the region or willing to commute or relocate if necessary. This role will also include 1 weekend work scheduled in every 4 & occasional on-call periods with time in lieu given
